Ristorante & Pizzeria We Love Our Multiple PersonalitiesOver the years at Moretti’s we’ve become a little schizo in our quest to show you a good time. Are we a sit-down restaurant? Pizza joint? Sports bar? Dance club? Banquet Hall? And how does the sand volleyball court and tiki bar fit into all that?? “Something for everyone” is kind of a lame cliché, but we can’t help ourselves. We will do whatever we can to create as much fun for as many people as possible. Thus, Moretti’s has a wide ranging menu of pizza, Italian and American cuisine, table service for lunch and dinner, take-out, private event facilities, sports bar, in-house event ticket service, and huge landscaped patio garden featuring outdoor dining, tiki bar and recreational activities including a regulation sand volleyball court. We have tons of activities and promotions that run the gamut from pizza deals to beanbag tournaments to salsa dance parties. How to Get HereWhen we opened in ’94, Moretti’s was considered a little off the beaten path. Now the path has been beaten to our door with the growth of the Rush-UIC-United Center neighborhood. Moretti’s is located in the grassy confines of the low-rise Teamster City office campus on Jackson Blvd between Ashland and Paulina Streets, in Chicago’s West Loop Gate neighborhood a few blocks southeast of the United Center and just north of Rush Hospital and the UIC campus, a block north of the Eisenhower expressway. Click here for a map. Easy Parking and TransportationHere’s maybe the most amazing thing Moretti’s has to offer: Unlimited Parking! Yes, in downtown Chicago. Surface lots on the Teamster City campus are free, so that’s the first option, and street parking is pretty easy as well except when it’s real busy with United Center events or something else in the area. That’s when you can turn to $7 valet parking (what a bargain!) or use the giant 5 story parking garage right across the street that never runs out of space (even when the Bulls are winning). Anyway you slice it, you skip the ever-increasing Chicago parking nightmares. To top it all off and crown ourselves kings of easy access, Moretti’s runs a $2 shuttle bus back and forth from United Center for the bigger events there. FoodAward-Winning Moretti’s pan and thin crust Chicago-style pizza is just the most famous part of Moretti’s large menu. We offer a varied selection of Italian and American dishes, both classic and modern for lunch and dinner in the casual elegance of Moretti’s dining room, or outdoors on the patio. Prices are in the mid- to low range of Chicago restaurants and the comfortable atmosphere and fast, friendly service make Moretti’s a great option for anything from a quick lunch during the workday to a relaxed dinner before a concert or sports event at the nearby United Center. Our food, not just pizza, is available for take-out. The Great OutdoorsRestaurant gardens in Chicago tend toward the small patch of concrete and a couple of flowerpots, but Moretti’s has what we like to call our “back yard.” Step through the glass wall on the west side of the bar to get into one of the very few real garden spaces you can find at a city joint. The large patio includes an island “tiki bar” and seating for over 100 guests. The patio is surrounded by landscaping, grassy areas for playing beanbag and other outdoor games, and a few steps across the grass is a regulation sand volleyball court. It’s our little piece of the beach in the heart of the city! SportsWith the United Center and UIC right in the neighborhood, you know we’ve gotta have sports covered! Moretti’s sports bar area features dozens of big screen TV’s surrounding a huge island bar and areas of high-top tables, perfect for getting the gang together and watching sporting events. Attractive food, drink and promotional specials are offered during football season and for other selected events. Private PartiesMoretti’s is a great place to throw a party. We have many years of catering expertise you can count on to help you host any event, from a formal dinner to a casual get-together. But we also have a location that is a lot more fun and interesting than your typical banquet hall! With our garden patio, bar area, restaurant and several private banquet rooms, there’s sure to be a setting that is perfect for your event. Find out more!
