We Love Our Multiple Personalities In the years since we opened the original Moretti’s in Edison Park in 1992, we’ve become a little schizo in our quest to show you a good time. Are we a sit-down restaurant? Pizza place? Take-out joint? Sports bar? Pub? Banquet Hall? And how does the giant outdoor garden fit into all that?? “Something for everyone” is kind of a lame cliché, but we can’t help ourselves. We will do whatever we can to create as much fun for as many people as possible. Thus, Moretti’s has a wide ranging menu of pizza, Italian and American cuisine, table service for lunch and dinner, take-out and delivery, private event facilities, sports bar and a huge landscaped patio garden featuring outdoor dining. How to Get Here When we tell people where Edison Park is, some folks say “is that in Chicago??” Well we’re proud to say we are definitely in Chicago, but just barely. We are out on the farthest northwest side of the city near the suburbs of Park Ridge and Rosemont, in the general O’Hare area. Driving from downtown Chicago, you can take the Kennedy to Harlem, go north to Northwest Highway, turn left and go a mile or so til you hit the light at Oliphant in the heart of charming downtown Edison Park. Take a left and then a right on Olmsted and we are on the right. Click here for a map. The easiest way to get here is by Metra, since Moretti’s is right across the street from the Edison Park station on the Harvard line. Food Award-Winning Moretti’s pan and thin crust Chicago-style pizza is just the most famous part of Moretti’s large menu. We offer a varied selection of Italian and American dishes, both classic and modern for lunch and dinner in the friendly neighborhood atmosphere of Moretti’s dining room, or outdoors on the patio. Prices are in the mid- to low range of Chicago restaurants and the comfortable atmosphere and fast, friendly service make Moretti’s a great option for anything from a quick lunch during the workday to a relaxed dinner to getting together with friends to watch the game and have some appetizers. All our food, not just the pizza, is available for take-out and delivery. The Great Outdoors Restaurant gardens in Chicago tend toward the small patch of concrete and a couple of flowerpots, but Moretti’s has what we like to call our “front yard.” Step through the glass doors to get into one of the biggest garden patios you can find at a city joint. With trees, flowers and a park view, it’s our little slice of heaven in the heart of the city! Sports At Moretti’s we are “old school” in our pub décor, old country kitchen recipes and friendly neighborhood service, but the one area we have gone “high tech” is our sports bar. Moretti’s sports pub area features dozens of big screen TV’s including giant plasma screens surrounding our island bar and areas of booths and high-top tables, perfect for getting the gang together and watching sporting events. But that’s not the end of our gadgetry! We also have these “Fan Can” personal table top speakers you can set to get the sound for your game of choice, and the NTN video network, where you can use a wireless controller to play sports and trivia games via satellite with people across North America. Oh yeah, and of course Moretti’s has just about every possible satellite package to get the maximum number of games for almost any sport you can think of. But with all that sophisticated sports equipment, we still offer really good food, drink and promotional deals during football season and for other sporting events. Private Parties Moretti’s is a great place to throw a party. We have many years of catering expertise you can count on to help you host any event, from a sit-down dinner for family or business associates to a casual get-together with friends. But our location is a lot more fun and interesting than your typical banquet hall!
